Founder

The Man Behind Seraphaire

Monojit Chakraborty grew up in Palta — a small town on the outskirts of Kolkata, quiet in the way only small towns can be. Raised in a family with roots in local business, he understood early what it meant to build something close to home, for the people around you.

But Monojit wanted more for Palta. He wanted the world to know its name.

With a background in business and commerce, he founded Seraphaire with a simple but powerful intention — to put a small town on the map by doing justice to the craft it sits beside. To support local artisans, uplift small town businesses, and show that something extraordinary can come from somewhere most people have never heard of.

Palta may be small. But through Seraphaire, it is speaking to the world.
